Newsom issues mandatory mask order for California
Last night I wrote about how the Newsom administration was considering imposing a statewide mask order for all of California. Well today the administration has unveiled that they are indeed going to institute a mandatory facemask order for all of California…
Right, because Newsom actually thinks people are dumb enough to believe that it’s people not wearing a thin cloth face mask that is causing the spread of the virus and not the thousands and thousands of people that gathered in the streets in recent weeks.
This hair-gel brain plan comes on the heels of other places like San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange County rescinding their mask orders. It is clear the Newsom administration wants to keep the virus panic level elevated as high as possible until the election day. He wants people living in fear, and those that aren’t in fear, he wants them under his control.
That is what this mask order is about, because people have been openly defying the Governors tyrannical lockdown orders and a Judge had to step in to try to check Newsom’s emergency powers.
The state mandate does exempt children 2 years and younger, people with a medical, mental health, or developmental disability that prevents them from wearing a face covering. Also restaurant customers are exempt when eating and drinking, not when standing in line, as are residents engaged in outdoor recreation as long as they are able to socially distance from others.
Clearly the Newsom administration understands that a legal challenge can arise to his order if he doesn’t carve out these exemptions because diligent citizens have already figured out that you cannot force people to wear a face mask, especially if they have an underlying medical condition. Most of the compliance towards virus restrictions has been voluntary.
Face coverings will also not be required for the hearing impaired, or those communicating with them, or for workers whose health may be put at risk or may need to temporarily remove a mask to perform a task or service. So while the order isn’t too strict in some regards, it is still aimed at tens of millions of Californians and the numerous tourists visiting our state. Many more Mask Karens will now be demanding people wear a mask and stay 6-feet away from them…
Odd how Newsom has all these plans, rules, and restrictions surrounding the Coronavirus, but he still has not, and will not, condemn the horrific rioting that took place in California. In fact, Newsom has condemned the officers that did their job to stop the rioting.
