449 illegal aliens arrested in Arizona at Border.

YUMA, Ariz. – Border Patrol agents in the heavily crossed Yuma Sector apprehended over 400 illegal aliens who voluntarily surrendered to them Tuesday and Wednesday, including two huge groups of Central American nationals totaling 82 and 83 subjects.

Just before midnight on Tuesday, a Border Patrol camera operator observed a group of 82 illegal aliens illegally crossing into the United States by traversing over the legacy landing mat border wall east of the San Luis Port of Entry.  A majority of the illegal aliens were family units from Guatemala although three were from El Salvador. The illegal aliens range in age from two to 48 years old.

Approximately four hours later, a second group of illegal aliens totaling 83 was observed digging a shallow hole underneath the same older portion of wall to gain access into the United States a short distance from where the first group entered.

This old portion of wall lacks the improved concrete footer that new wall prototypes have which prevents easy digging underneath.  The second group was also comprised of mostly Guatemalans with fourteen of them being from El Salvador. The group ranged in age from two to 40 years old.

By the end of the day Wednesday, Yuma Station agents had apprehended a total of 449 illegal aliens, the vast majority being family units from Central America.

Yuma Sector continues to see increasing numbers of aliens crossing illegally into its area of responsibility from countries other than Mexico where they are able to exploit the outdated infrastructure.

What we are seeing coming across the border right now is the previous caravan that tried to make its way to the United States and advanced elements of the current caravan making its way here. These are the people that Beto O’Rourke and Andrew Gillum are helping get to the United States. Make no mistake, Democrats are spiritually and financially behind this sudden influx of illegal aliens coming across the border.

We have been facing a massive humanitarian crisis at our borders for a while now as throngs of illegals have just been pouring across the border, or as you saw in this story, they dug their way underneath a section of of the border that doesn’t have the anti-tunnel guard of other better secured parts of the wall.

They are trying to pour across right now before Trump shuts the door. He has been upgrading many parts of the wall and now that many engineers are deployed to the border they will build even more barriers to keep people out of our country. Things are getting critical now and we cannot falter as we head into the final 6 years of the Trump Presidency.

We need to take advantage of this time to do everything we can to upgrade our border security to make it more effective at keeping people out.
