3 assaults on CA Border Patrol in past few days.
The first incident occurred on Oct. 11, at approximately 7:45 p.m., when agents assigned to bike patrol just east of the Calexico Port of Entry, encountered a man suspected of illegally entering the United States. After questioning, the man resisted arrest and physically assaulted the agent.
The agent deployed his oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray, and was able to safely arrest the man. Getting sprayed with OC has been described as feeling like thousands of little needles poking your eyes. Glad this violent illegal was given that treatment.
The 24-year-old Mexican citizen, will be held pending charges of illegally entering the United States, and assaulting a federal agent.
The second incident occurred when agents assigned to patrol near the Gran Plaza Outlets in Calexico, reported individuals in Mexico were throwing rocks into the United States attempting to cause harm or destruction. Agents nearby responded and the aggressors soon left the area.
No arrests were made, but Mexican Officials were notified.
The third incident occurred when an agent patrolling the desert west of Mount Signal, encountered a man suspected of being in the United States illegally.
While the agent approached, the man started to run towards Mexico. After a brief chase, the agent attempted to arrest the man but he resisted and began to assault the agent. After a brief scuffle, backup arrived and effectively took custody of the man.
The 41-year-old Mexican citizen was turned over the FBI for further investigation.
I find it incredibly interesting that the FBI got involve in the last case. I have read thousands of these reports and I can’t think of one other time that I have read about the FBI getting involved in an illegal alien case. I will keep you posted with any further details on that particular case.
These assaults on our Border Patrol agents are further proof that we need to be much more strict on illegal immigration. We already have millions of illegal aliens in our country, many of them willing to fight or even kill in order to stay in our country. We have been letting in a flood of violent illegal aliens that will not hesitate to hurt an American citizen.
Our Border agents are absolutely under assault and have been incurring a record number of attacks. As the illegal aliens grow more desperate to enter the country and they hear the rhetoric of the Democrats that are inviting them in. Those factors are making the situation more dangerous for our border agents. We need to elect politicians that are sincere about securing our Borders if we actually want to stop these assaults from happening.
