83 Mexican Mafia members arrested in California raids
“Essentially, the Mexican Mafia is a gang of gangs,”
On May 23rd, 2018, 83 people accused of affiliations/membership in the Mexican Mafia were arrested in a massive raid, involving hundreds of law enforcement agents. The raid was focused in the Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. “Operation Dirty Thirds”, as it was called, lasted all of 2 hours and by the end of it a serious blow had been dealt to the Mexican Mafia.
While the investigation had been going on for several years, I believe that is due to the no nonsense crime policy of the Trump administration that this raid was carried out so effectively and precisely. Where normally you might even see some corrupt Democrats and a few of their Neocon buddies step in and protect one of the criminal organizations that helps them get rich.
I will continue to say that we will keep seeing these types of massive raids under a Trump administration that is targeting high level, powerful, transnational criminal organizations. MS13 is just one group out of dozens that transcend international borders and while Trump is certainly targeting MS13, other groups like the Mexican Mafia are also on his hit list.
This is a major victory for local neighborhoods and communities that have been plagued for decades by steadily increasing violence. All while the state government turns a blind eye to the influx of criminals and drugs pouring into our country. If you live anywhere outside of Silicon Valley and the Hills you have probably noticed the growing threat of organized street gangs in our communities.
Locals have been absolutely terrorized by these street gangs that will vandalize public and private property without a second thought. They hang outside drinking alcohol in public and doing drugs in the open. They will sexually harass any young girls that pass by and “press” men in the neighborhood. “Pressing” someone is the process of intimidating them by first asking them what gang they are in, then claiming what gang they represent, then starting a fight with and possibly robbing them. That isn’t even adding them flooding areas with hard drugs like crystal meth and cocaine. While listening to rap music that glorifies their criminal behavior while demonizing the police.
This is the reality of what I have to face everyday here in Southern California. Here in the City of Azusa, within the last decade, there was a serious purge of black members of the community by a Mexican gang knows as Azusa 13. They weren’t any different than MS13 and they employed a violent campaign heavily steeped in racism to drive every single black person out of the city…Today you hardly see any black people in Azusa. Where is the Left on this issue? Oh right these are their friends, and they would never attack the Mexican Mafia just like they would never attack MS13.
You will still see Mexican gang members hanging out, drinking their alcohol, asking people who pass by what gang they are in, threatening them, harassing any young girls that pass by. Everything is covered in gang graffiti with the “13” sprayed everywhere, that is basically a Latin swastika in case you weren’t sure what it meant.
That is why I am so excited about this recent Federal raid that nabbed 83 individuals. The Feds were smart on this one as they targeted just about every single aspect of the Mexican Mafia in the area. They hit homes, businesses and even jail cells.
The leadership of the Mexican Mafia relies primarily on a flat hierarchy of gang members that are mostly all in US prisons. Using cell phones and notes passed around they had full control and the ability to order moves on the street. 35 of the people arrested in this raid were already in prison. Using this hierarchy, if one goes down a dozen are ready to take their place, so only by hitting them across all aspects of their organization would they be dealt a serious blow. That is precisely what just happened to them.
Only a Trump administration is willing to do this. Other politicians are either too cowardly to put themselves in harms way or even worse, they are actually in bed with these transnational gangs. Make no mistake that people like Jerry Brown, Kamala Harris, Xavier Becerra, Ted Lieu, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and a host of other Democrats have been actively protecting groups like MS13 and The Mexican Mafia.
We must do everything we can to elect a new GOP leadership in California that will take an active stance against these criminal organizations and stop many of them and their drug supplies from entering the country.
